Welcome to the Cancer Council Annual Review 2009-10

Cancer Council Australia’s vision is to minimise the threat of cancer for all Australians, through successful prevention, best treatment and support.

Our Annual Review details the key activities and achievements of Cancer Council Australia in 2009/10. It describes how we work with our members and partners to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer by:

• leading change, advocating for better policy and programs to prevent and control cancer and improving treatment and support for people affected by cancer
• sharing information to increase public awareness and understanding of cancer, and to help health professionals improve cancer management
• funding and undertaking cancer research
• working with communities and corporate partners to raise funds.
